Anthony Brigano: Senior Director, State Government Relations
Tony Brigano, Senior Director, State Government Relations for Hicks Partners, provides lobbying and strategic planning services for budgetary and general legislative matters for a wide range of clients and issues including energy, pharmaceuticals, health and human services, economic development, education, and tax issues.
In this role, he assists clients in defining and prioritizing issues to develop plans for navigating concerns through the legislative process and represents client interests before the Office of the Governor, cabinet agencies, members of Congress, Ohio General Assembly, and local government entities. Additionally, Brigano performs a variety of legislative research for clients and maintains excellent working relationships with members of the legislative and executive branches of Ohio government.
Brigano previously served in numerous roles in state government including time as the Director of Public Inquiries for the Governor of Ohio, Caucus Policy Aide for the Speaker of the House, Caucus Policy Aide for the House Minority Leader, and as a Senior Legislative Aide for two members of the Ohio House. As a Policy Aide, Brigano’s responsibilities covered multiple policy areas including public utilities, agriculture, natural resources, commerce and labor, state government, and housing issues. In addition, he previously worked for the former Chairman of the House Public Utilities Committee which oversaw comprehensive electricity and energy policy revisions for the State of Ohio during his tenure.
Brigano is a native of Warren County and graduate of Wright State University. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Ohio Lobbying Association. He and his wife Lindsey reside in Columbus.
