Bruce L. Tague: Director, Federal Government Relations & Grassroots
At Hicks Partners, Bruce Tague is responsible for developing and executing grassroots and grass-tops strategies to engage stakeholders, the general public, local government officials, and federal government officials on behalf of clients. He brings over 20 years of experience to assist clients with their goals, develops coalitions, coordinates strategic events on behalf of clients, and provides government relations advice and support on federal matters.
Tague began his career soon after graduating from college as the Director of political mail and outreach for the New York Republican State Committee where he managed the campaign mail programs for all New York State candidates as well as coalition building and maintenance for the party.
Prior to joining Hicks Partners, Tague served in the office of the Ohio Attorney General, Executive Director of a Northeast Ohio Council of Governments, District Representative for Congressman Bob Gibbs, and Political Director for both the Ohio Republican Party and the Romney for President Ohio campaign. Additionally, Tague has worked on numerous local, state, and federal campaigns along with statewide ballot initiatives in Ohio and many additional projects throughout the United States.
Outside of work, Tague is the President of the St. Vincent de Paul School Advisory Board, Treasurer and Coach of the Centerburg Colt Football League and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Tague earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science from the State University of New York at Albany.
