Tony Long serves as Senior Director, Government Affairs & General Counsel at Hicks Partners, bringing more than three decades of legal and public policy experience in Ohio’s public and private sectors.
Before joining Hicks Partners, Tony spent eight years in the Government Relations group at the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. There he staffed the Chamber’s Energy & Environment Policy Committee and its General Counsel Policy Committee, and managed its amicus brief program. He was also a regular speaker and panelist at statewide conferences, local chambers of commerce, and civic organizations.
Before that, Tony spent nearly two decades in Honda’s Office of General Counsel. He began his career as an attorney in the Legal Division of the Ohio Department of Taxation.
Tony earned his B.A. from Mount Union College and his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law. Outside the office, he enjoys visiting his adult children, cheering on the Cincinnati Reds, and supporting local live music.
